Rock Doctor Stonework started pretty simply - a guy outside, piling rocks, figuring things out as he went. Stone just made sense. It's raw, natural, and doesn't forgive shortcuts. Somewhere along the way, the work stopped being just labor and started becoming art. Stone has texture, weight, and personality, and learning how to read it is part of the craft. No two jobs are the same, and that's the draw. What I do now is intentional. Every cut, every placement, every finished piece is built to last. I consider myself an artist - the medium just happens to be stone.
